Scripture readings for Christmas

(25-01-2025, 03:01 PM)Ali Imran Wrote:  King David had more than 11 wives. According to the scriptures, he had thousands of wives.

Do you have a problem accepting King David as a prophet of God?

You are right, so are those who pointed out about Mohammad's numerous wives.

So both religions are attacking each other over the same thing??!!

In this context, I am not attacking. They are attacking. I believe King David was a prophet of God.

The double standard is being displayed by the 2 Christians here.

King David was punished by God for committing adultery...he is the same as Muhammad as they both place carnal pleasure as their priority before god...

Muhammad had sex with captives eg Maria before she was moslem, own 4 concubines and have 11 wives...took his son's wife as his own, he was not punished by God because God was never with him and he is praying to a false God.....he make it up to gain control of his men..a true God will have him punish for sure without a doubt

U don’t know the Bible about king David don’t anyhow lie ho

How many wives did King David have?

8 wives: 18+ children, including: According to Jewish works such as the Seder Olam Rabbah, Seder Olam Zutta, and Sefer ha-Qabbalah (all written over a thousand years later), David ascended the throne as the king of Judah in 885 BCE.

Don say the brain of bro lksm is all about sex....

Your prophet is dirtier and the hadith is looking to become a book named kamasutra..

Here is another eg of .

Sahih al-Bukhari 302

Narrated `Abdur-Rahman bin Al-Aswad: `Aisha said: "Whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) wanted to fondle anyone of us during her periods (menses), he used to order her to put on an Izar and start fondling her." `Aisha added, "None of you could control his sexual desires as the Prophet (ﷺ) could."

When Prophet Muhammad PBUH had such a self control and seeing the above two Testimonials by Aysha RA who knew the most about private matters of Prophet Salalahu alaihi wasallam and his self control, which even Aysha RA says none could be like that than how could it be possible why the honourable Prophet could not control himself for few hours for the night with Maria RA ? Or her house was just a stone throw away so why would it be like this and Maria RA was a very honoured lady too as seen in the below link., so Does that make any sense? And such ridiculous slanderous claims will contradict the scholar of the Women Aysha, RA above multiple statements When Prophet has seen houris, women of Paradise in comparison to them women of this world with odours are less than just rags for the Prophet PBUH. When Aisha who knew very personal private matters of the Prophet PBUH has herself gave above testimonials this slander about Maria RA utterly fails and is just a blunt lie since Prophet Muhammad PBUH rejected the offer of pagans when he was much younger at 40 to 41 years to marry as many virgins he wanted and also become their King in exchange to stop preaching Islam But he rejected this offer which was brokered through his most beloved only guardian Abu Talib without second thoughts proved his great noble Charecter and self control and most honoured in his manners so that Allah called him the best example. The Arab pagans called him “Al Ameen” or trustworthy such that he didn't breach their trust of those depositaries of valuables even in his most riskiest time of leaving Mecca to Medina when a dozen thugs surrounded his house with swords to kill him, So how its possible for this Prophet with the highest spirit of truth to lie?

I just want to expose your double standard. You can accept King David as a prophet of God even though he had multiple wives but you criticize Prophet Muhammad for that?

We have no problems with King David...he is dealt with by God...we have problems reading the sexcapades of Muhammad lah....the hadith should issue a PG warning on those who read ....

Ask the females to dress appropriately lah,.all cover up lah..but when it comes to the books..can write dirty..these kind of words like fondle, menses, sexual desires can refrain lah....he is the prophet of God leh...can write in modest or not!

So you have no problem accepting King David as a prophet of God even though he had many wives and concubines. But you have a problem with Prophet Muhammad having 11 wives.

That is known as double standard.

God did not provide King David with specific laws regarding marriage, allowing him to take as many wives as he desired. In contrast, the situation for Muhammad is different. He conveyed God's law, which permits a man to marry up to four wives, but he did not adhere to this guideline himself, failing to set an example..and THAT IS DOUBLE STANDARD

How do you know? It was common for young girls to be married in those days. How old was Rebekah when she married Prophet Isaac? According to some Jewish scholars, she was 3 and others say she was 10.

The issue isn't that a prophet cannot have multiple wives...rather, the concern is that the prophet has broken God's law, and Muhammad is included in this discussion. He disobeyed God! You can't claim that he is exempt from the new law simply because he married 11 wives before it was established.

What about the Bible of other Christians which has more books than the 66 in your Bible?

Are they valid Bible or only your Bible is valid?

So you don't have all the information about the Jewish prophets in Jewish Midrash. That means you don't know.

Moslems like to sell the idea that the Quran is well preserved...but that does not equate to the truth...just look at the contents!
