So there, you don't have an answer to a crucial question. You believe Jesus gave guidance because he is the way. But we don't have his guidance preserved for us to follow today.

There are some parts of the Bible you obey and some others you don't.

How do you choose which ones of what God says to obey and which ones to put aside?

The Moslem says that there is no guidance from Jesus to follow... Big Grin
Jesus has a few..but don know if he dares to follow or not Big Grin

1.Jesus promised the coming of the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17), who aids believers in their spiritual journey, strengthening their faith and helping them to live according to God's will...Alizabird can get baptised for a start lah..

2.Jesus emphasized belief in him as essential for salvation. For example, in John 3:16, it is stated that "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life....The moslem can start to believe in Jesus lah..

3.Jesus is referred to as the "Lamb of God" in the Gospel of John (John 1:29), signifying that he was the ultimate sacrifice. This title connects Jesus to the Passover lamb in Exodus, pointing to the deliverance offered through his sacrifice.

This is the big difference between Paul and Muhammad...Paul has witnesses to his revelations but Muhammad does not have a single one. It is just him, he is a Lone wolf.
Matter of fact, it wasn't him who recognised himself as the prophet. He has to be told by somebody else that he is a prophet

Acts 9

New International Version

Saul’s Conversion

9 Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest 2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. 3 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

5 “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked.

“I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. 6 “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

7 The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless; they heard the sound but did not see anyone. 8 Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. 9 For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything.

10 In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision, “Ananias!”

“Yes, Lord,” he answered.

11 The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. 12 In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.”

13 “Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem. 14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.”

15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”

17 Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord—Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here—has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized, 19 and after taking some food, he regained his strength.

You must put yourself in my shoes.

How can I know which ones are the correct teachings of Jesus? Is the Father the only true God or are there 2 more true gods?

To be obedient to the commandments or obedience is optional?

Which one is the correct teachings of Jesus?

Paul didnt abolish Jesus’ teachings, but rather that he adapted and reinterpreted them in a new context....Paul also expanded that vision to include Gentiles and emphasized the inclusivity of the Gospel....Good Job Paul! Big Grin

That's the point today we're discussing, what Jesus said and why it wasn't preserved for us to be sure what Jesus said.

If the Quran has been proven to be preserved to such a degree, why weren't the words of Jesus preserved to the same standard at least?

This Moslem used the preservation of the Quran to try to prove to us that it is the truth? Big Grin what a joke! There's a chance that it is a preservation of falsehood
It is the contents that matter! The Quran contradicts previous scriptures! That is the truth!

One of the oldest religious texts known to be preserved is the Rigveda, a sacred scripture of Hinduism, which dates back to around 1500 BCE....so is that the very truth?
