Scripture readings for Christmas

“Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the nations. He will not cry aloud or lift up his voice, or make it heard in the street; a bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice. He will not grow faint or be discouraged till he has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands wait for his law.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭42‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

No name mentioned cannot confirm who was the chosen servant

Good. Now you know of a chosen servant of the Lord who was sent to the Arabs.

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. And whoever will not listen to my words that he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him. But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.”

That means, if a man pretends to be a prophet speaking for God, he must be sentenced to death.

Who was sentenced to death?

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakathu
Allah says in the Qur'an that four of the prophets were Arabs. Namely; Hud (AS), Saleh (AS), Shuaib (AS) and Muhammad (SAW). We are told that the Arabs came from the lineage of Ismail (AS), son of Yaqoob (AS) aka Israil. My question today is: How can Hud, Saleh and Shuaib (peace be upon them all) be Arabs if the Arabs came from the prodginy of Ismail (AS) and he (AS) came many generations afterwards? Please correct me if I made any mistakes and also provide me with insight. Inshallah Ta'ala I will be enlightened. Shukraan and I hope Ramadan is blessed.

What were the children of Israel doing in the desert of Yathrib? They were waiting for the arrival of a prophet who would emerge in the Arabian peninsula. They knew of the prophecy of a prophet who would emerge there.

Do you know where is mountain of Sela? Just beside the prophet's city, in the Arabian peninsula.

So, you have 2 clues. One is the people of Kedar who were living in the Arabian peninsula. They were the people who received the servant of God. The second clue is the mountain called Sela, which is in the Arabian peninsula.
