I don't use jinn (or genie) to determine the truth.

But these are parts of the Quran that you must believe to be the truth, even though Islam has specific guidelines regarding Jinns.

Signs of Jinn Presence:

Unexplained Noises: Hearing footsteps, knocking, or other sounds with no apparent source.

Disturbances: Moving objects, doors slamming, or objects being stolen.

Physical Sensations: Feeling heavy, numbness, or goosebumps.

Unusual Behavior in Children: Young children may wake up screaming without a clear cause or stare at empty spaces.

Unexplained Cleanliness Issues: The house quickly becoming dirty despite cleaning efforts.

Malfunctioning Electronics: TVs, microwaves, or refrigerators malfunctioning without apparent reason.

Persistent Unpleasant Smells: Lingering odors despite cleaning efforts.

Unusual Insect Infestations: Ants or cockroaches appearing in unusual numbers or places.

Feeling Watched: The sensation of being observed.

Disturbances in Electricity: The jinn may "play with the flame," affecting lights or other electrical devices.

Seeing Shadows: Fleeting shadows that disappear when looked at directly.

Strange Animals: Seeing snakes, cats, or unusual animals in the house.

If your body felt nice in that room, does that mean it is the holy spirit? What if you're having a bug on that day and your body doesn't feel nice? Or what if the air in the room has extra oxygen that makes you feel nice? Does all that determine the truth?

The answer is no. That is not how you determine the truth.

I repeat. I don't use jinn to determine the truth. I don't doubt the existence of jinn.

For me...the Holy Spirit determine the truth..because it is there.. How do you determine the truth if you have nothing to work on? Solely base on Muhammad's words?

God has been sending prophet after prophet with revelations to guide mankind, many prophets. And when a prophet was sent to a people, he would appeal to the people's intellect to accept the truth.

So, the truth is determined by using one's intellect. How do we use our intellect? By thinking, of course.

The beads are for counting. The messenger of Allah صلي الله عليه وسلم taught us to recite some verses a certain number of times, so the bead is used to count the number of recitations.

Using intellect to determine the truth? Very good, pls tell me how Muhammad sat on a flying Buraq , met all the past prophets and negotiated with Allah several times...pls give me a good explanation because this is the only time Allah spoke to Muhammad directly..

So you doubt that God can transport God's beloved servant صلي الله عليه وسلم to a remote location?

Do you doubt Prophet Moses pbuh splitting the sea? Do you doubt Prophet Jesus pbuh healing the lepers?

In short, do you doubt the miracles of God?

The feeling of the Holy Spirit is described in various ways, often including sensations like warmth, tingling, or peace. Some describe it as a sense of joy, a connection to God, or an overwhelming feeling of awe. Others have experienced it as a nudge or a strong conviction to act, a deep sense of truth, or a transformation that breaks free from negative influences.

The punishment for witchcraft in Islam is the death penalty.

One of the leading Christian scholars today, Dr Daniel Wallace, said that you should not trust the NT 100%. He is a Christian.

You said you are using intellect to determine the truth mạh... spirits and Jinns are all around you yet these are not the criteria to determine a truth but you will wholeheartedly believe in something that is beyond your intellect..

Let's go to Surah Al-Isra (17:1). This Surah alludes to the journey from Al-Masjid Al-Haram (the Sacred Mosque in Makkah) to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa (the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem).

When did the prophet pass away? Around 632..
Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa (the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem) was built between 685-715...

By using your intellect, there was no mosque at all in Jerusalem during his night journey..what did he see? Big Grin

A miracle, by definition, defies logic. It is like a sheriff's badge, to give credence to the prophet's authority. We should not be discussing past miracles of prophets because we were not there to witness them.

Oh.. al Aqsa. The mosque was named after the Quran. It wasn't known as Masjid al Aqsa at that time. It was only named after the Muslims conquered Jerusalem. Aqsa means remote.

You are appealing to intellect as a way to determine the truth

My case is that intellect alone isn't sufficient to determine the truth.... Miracles and supernatural phenomena can take precedence over our logical mind.

The Quran is considered a guidance and reminder for both mankind and jinns

Btw, there was a temple there way before the time of Prophet Muhammad صلي الله عليه وسلم.

In Arabic, a temple made for the worship of 1 true God is called a masjid.

seventy-two virgins

According to these traditions, Muslim men that die waging jihad against the enemies of Islam will be rewarded by Allah in heaven (jannah) as martyrs (shuhada) and receive seventy-two virgins to enjoy in blissful ecstasy.

Can I have 4 wives in Jannah?
He will have two wives from among the women of this world, and seventy wives from among al-hur al-'in. This is the minimum, and there is no maximum limit. He will have a minimum of two wives from among al-hur al-'in, and each will have more than that according to his status.

Will I meet my soulmate in Jannah?
in an authentic hadith, no one is single in Jannah. So if you didn't have a spouse in this dunya, you will certainly have a spouse in Jannah. And Allah says, enter you and your spouses and tuumwa as logical. Eating together, enjoying the couches together, enjoying the new homes together, enjoying the memories together
