Whatever came out of Jesus' mouth is the Word of God lah!

And more importantly, why is it so confusing?

How do you know it has been well preserved when you don't have the original? All the manuscripts we have today are copies of copies of copies. So who can you possibly know it has been preserved?

The result of the confusion is the many denominations, with different understandings of the Bible.
The Anglicans, the Catholics, the Pentecostals, the Evangelicals, to name a few, all understand the Bible differently. Which one is rightly guided by the Holy Spirit?

If the majority copies remain consistent...is that not good enough?
Even if we had no manuscripts, it would be possible to reconstruct the New Testament using evidence from liturgies, rituals, readings in other works, and quotes in early church fathers' writings..

The same goes to the different sects in Islam...every sects has their own beliefs

Till today, nobody can come up with a version of the NT that is agreed upon by all the scholars. Metzger spoke about the restoration but till today, we don't have any restored NT.
And if you use the early church fathers, we get even more confused because in the first 300 years, the early church fathers were all subordinatists. Were they all wrong? Yes, if we go by the creed that is used today.

Why do you need restoration when it is sufficient and complete

That is false. We are united in our religion and our faith. The proof of that is the Hajj, which will take place in about a week. All the Muslims from all over the world will come together and perform rituals in worship of God, in unison. When it is Ramadan, all the Muslims in all corners of the earth will fast in exactly the same fashion, from sunrise to sunset. We all do solah 5 times a day and each time, and for each prayer, the rakaah (cycle) is the same. Fajr is 2, Zohor is 4, Asar is 4, Magrib is 3 and Ishak is 4. It is the same all over the world. I can go to China and perform my daily solah there with the Chinese.

Why did Metzger hope to restore it if it doesn't need restoration? Why is Dr. Dan Wallace still trying very hard today, spending tons of money in the process of trying to restore the NT?
The Gospels themselves say it doesn't contain the teachings of Jesus completely. So no, it is not complete.

The Ahmadis do not believe Jesus is the messiah, the Shias believe God has eyes, hands and shin while the sunni thinks otherwise...Within Sunni Islam, there are also different schools of thought like Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali, each with its own interpretations of Islamic law
