Scripture readings for Christmas

 Jesus as the True Temple:
The temple in the Old Testament was a place where God's presence resided and where people offered sacrifices for atonement.

In the New Testament, Jesus is presented as the fulfillment of the temple, the one who embodies God's presence in human form.

John 2:19-22 records Jesus referring to his own body as the temple, which would be destroyed and rebuilt in three days, a clear reference to his death and resurrection.

Jesus's sacrifice on the cross, where the curtain of the temple was torn, symbolized the breaking down of the barrier between God and humanity, making way for direct access to God through him.

Jesus is the ultimate priest, sacrifice, and temple, all in one.

I didn't speak without knowledge. The knowledge about God I was referring to comes from the Bible. In 2 Chronicles and in 1 Kings, we read that the entire universe cannot contain God.

If you still want to insist that God can be contained in a human body, I will not say anymore. You have every right to disbelieve the scriptures.

Very good! I hope you learn something!

John 5:19:
"I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does."

You see how Jesus acts in perfect unity and obedience with the Father

In the OT and NT...we have seen God take on human form..only the Islamic God is incapable and powerless...Even Jibril who can take on human form is more powerful than Allah

Yes of course.

So it means Jesus is not equal to God because, on his own, he can do nothing.

So, we read in 1 Kings and 2 Chronicles, that the universe cannot contain God.

You can disbelieve that if you wish.

I already explained 1 kings and 2 chronicles yesterday...

Jesus is God incarnate, meaning God taking on human form....Jesus as the ultimate temple in which God dwells!

Like I've said, I cannot force you to believe what is in 1 Kings and 2 Chronicles.

No! Look at you, don you know how to read... The verse did not say they are unequal, instead it shows that what the father can do, the son can do as well...
The Father and Son are one, and the Son's actions are a reflection of the Father's will.

Like I've said, you speak with no Biblical knowledge...you need to go to a credible site for Biblical explanations..there is only one interpretation so it is very easy unlike the Quran which have several interpretations

Ok. We have a different opinion on a verse where Jesus said:  By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.

Jesus clearly says he seeks to please the One who sent him. If you wish to believe that they are equal, we differ on our opinion of that verse. We can agree to disagree.

This emphasizes Jesus's ultimate motivation, which is to glorify His Father and fulfill his purpose...that does not make Him unequal! They both have distinct roles to play..

Is this a credible Christian site? Or a Judaism site?
Got question.org is good enough!

If you believe the Father also cannot do anything by himself, then they are equal.

Do you believe that?

Use a Christian site lah...why must you go to a site not for mainstream Christians but for Jewish believers

Torah Class is a free online Bible Study website for gentile and Jewish Believers in Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach. We offer it from a Hebraic Heritage perspective. We honor Israel as God’s chosen people, and we also honor both Testaments of the Bible as truth and infallible. We believe that the Bible is God’s Word to humankind, and so we study it in depth, verse by verse, in the context of the Hebrew culture in which it was written. We add historical background, geography, original language understanding, and other multi-dimensional elements to provide a complete learning experience.

In this context, the Father is in heaven, in spiritual form while Jesus is in physical form on earth..

So what did you do to help the Palestinians? Big Grin
You will brag about your big fish pond, your successful career....but why not also tell us what you do to help your moslem brothers? Big Grin

Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. - Matthew 6

Why would you want me to go against the words of the Father and Jesus by becoming a Christian?

Why? Because you quoted me Matthew 6 to tell me that the Father will reward you in secret...you can never quote me something similar from the Quran Big Grin
because it is inadequate

Did you? When moslems can't give you a direct answer...they will give you plenty of options to confuse you....it is the same as the Quran ..no direct answer but plenty of options and various interpretations!

As of early 2024, Hamas may have received as much as $10 million a month through such donations...

There is a big chance that they didnt want the conflict to end any sooner because of the huge payout monthly
