While Paul emphasized faith, he also recognized the importance of good works as evidence of genuine faith. He argued that true faith produces a transformed life, which naturally leads to obedience and love. James, in his epistle, also emphasizes that faith without works is dead.....
Do you know what Sola Fide entails?
Are you confused between the Law/Commandments and good works?

Think lah... .why would the lord borrow from you? Buy ice cream? Of cos it is a metaphor
Lending to the Lord:
The proverb uses the metaphor of lending to illustrate the idea that giving to the poor is not a waste but an investment with God as the guarantor.

So "lending" is a metaphor but "aiding" is not a metaphor.
Ok noted.

Can you find situations in the Bible where a lie is ethically acceptable?
Please answer.
What situations? You didnt even give examples...blow hot air again?

The fact is Muhammad discarded Jesus's teachings...He even permits lying and you are proud of it .

Are you saying there is no situation in the Bible where lying is ethically acceptable?
Please answer first. You already arrogantly said you are well-informed so let's put it to a test.

You don even read the Bible and most scholars agree that Paul's teachings are in line with Jesus's teachings...
Only you disagree...should I trust you over their expertise?

I will reiterate.
Jesus said to keep the commandments if you want to be saved.
Paul said faith alone is enough, no need to keep the commandments.

If you have none..then that proves me right!
I'm not going to guess what is in your head

OMG I thought you said you are well-informed?

You didn't answer the question.
Can you find a story in the Bible where a lie was told that was ethically acceptable?
If you don't know, I will show you. But first, please admit that you have never come across such a story in the Bible.

This is not about Islam or Muhammad صلي الله عليه وسلم.
This is about the criteria you put forth a couple of days ago, which will falsify Paul's claim on the road to Damascus.

My original point was that Muhammad allows lying... so please provide me with prophets who agree with Muhammad that lying is permissible....pls stay on point
I could care less about your stories...because you cannot provide one

Yes...I reiterate once again that scholars and theologians agree that Paul's teachings are in line with Jesus's teachings...
Your opinion mean nothing

No, Paul did not teach that believers should completely discard the law. While he emphasized that salvation is by grace through faith and not by adherence to the law, he also affirmed the law's continuing value in revealing sin and guiding Christian behavior. He clarified that the law's purpose was not to save, but to point to the need for a savior and to guide believers in righteous living.

This is where your IQ falls short... it's meant to be interpreted metaphorically. How can you literally lend to the Lord?

If you help Allah...Allah will reciprocate that effort by helping you....that is the literal meaning my friend

Let's go to tafsir explanation
O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you":
This part of the verse calls on believers to actively aid Allah's cause, which is understood to be the propagation of Islam and the defense of the Muslim community.
"and He will make your feet firm":
This refers to Allah granting believers steadfastness and strength in their endeavors, particularly in times of conflict.
So Allah needs the help of his believers. He is not powerful after all

the Bible explicitly condemns lying....but the so called last prophet says it is OK to lie

Leviticus 19:11 states, "You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another".
Psalm 40:4 speaks of the blessedness of those who trust in the Lord and don't turn to lies.
Colossians 3:9 says, "Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds".
Revelation 21:8 lists liars among those who will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Jesus himself identified the devil as "a liar and the father of lies" (John 8:44).

So your Bible says you cannot lie in any circumstances?
What about saving your children's lives from evil people? Can you lie to do that?

Yeah.. of course. God in the Bible is also broke that He asks for a loan, if we want to use your standard of exegesis.
