Scripture readings for Christmas

In that verse, Allah is referring to the people of the book, who pick and choose which ones they like. They also did that to the prophets sent to them. They pick and choose. They didn't like Jesus, so they rejected him.

And he said he was sent ONLY to the Israelites.

In Islamic belief, Jesus (Isa), son of Mary, is considered a prophet and messenger sent by God, not just to the Israelites, but to all of mankind. The Quran emphasizes that he was sent with a message of guidance and divine truth for all people.
The Quran refers to Jesus as the Messiah and highlights his miraculous birth, his ability to perform miracles, and his divine message.

While the Quran acknowledges Jesus's importance, it differs from Christian theology by not presenting him as part of the Trinity or the Son of God. Instead, it emphasizes his role as a human prophet and messenger of Allah.
The Quran also emphasizes the common origin of humanity, tracing it back to Adam, and stressing the brotherhood and equality of all people. This reinforces the idea that Jesus's message was intended for all humans.

Muslims are taught not to pick and choose which verses to believe from previous scriptures like the Torah and the Gospel. The Quran itself confirms this by stating that it is a guide and a guardian over previous scriptures. Muslims believe that while the original scriptures were divinely revealed, they have been altered or corrupted over time. The Quran is considered the final and preserved revelation from God, and Muslims are to adhere to its guidance.

The Quran is our guidance, and Prophet Muhammad صلي الله عليه وسلم is our teacher.

There is not a single verse in the Quran that says Jesus is a guide for all of mankind.

We believe Allah revealed the Torah and the Injeel to the respective prophets.

The Quran is the only revelation from Allah that is still with us today, in pristine condition.

I already showed you from AI and the Quran.
Why would God restrict His teachings to a particular group..God has a bigger purpose and God cast a big net!! Why would Allah go through so much troubles to let Jesus preach to a specific group only? It doesnt make sense

Do we have those revelations today? The answer is no.

All the prophets before Muhammad صلي الله عليه وسلم were sent to preach only to their people. All except Muhammad صلي الله عليه وسلم.

Why do you insult Allah? Why would you think that Allah would command you to believe in the Torah and Injil if they no longer exist? Does He will for Himself to make mistakes?

Allah says the Quran is the guidance for us, and Allah will ensure the Quran remains pristine.

There is not a single teaching in Islam that says we must read the Torah or the Injeel.

On why it wasn't preserved, that one is up to Allah. We do not question Allah's judgement.

The son of Mary, Jesus, pbuh, brought the Injeel.

Do we have it today? The answer is no.

Do you know what a criteria is? It is a rule.

Did I give you a rule? No. I gave you a statement from the Quran.

In the Quran, Allah addresses mankind, all of mankind. An example is: "O mankind! Be mindful of your Lord, Who created you from a single soul, and from it He created its mate, and through both He spread countless men and women. And be mindful of Allah — in Whose Name you appeal to one another — and honour family ties. Surely Allah is ever Watchful over you." Quran 4:1. There are many more verses where Allah addresses all of mankind.

Do we have a similar statement anywhere in the Bible where God addresses all of mankind? I doubt it. I could be wrong so do look it up.

Yes, Allah knows that you have writings which you call the Gospel.

Is it the Injeel of Jesus? The answer is no.

Allah wasn't referring to the previous scriptures.

Allah says some people forged verses and made them look like they were from God.

"None can change his words"

If Allah says "Be", it will definitely be. None can change it. When Allah says, "Every soul will taste death", no one can escape death.

You don't have to go to the Quran. You already know that you don't have Jesus's own words. Want me to paste Luke 1 again?

So, it's not a judgment call on my side. I am merely stating a fact.
