Jesus praying to the only true God the Father in heaven.....nothing wrong with it! We are also praying to the Father...that does not negate the fact that Jesus is God

Only God knows what is in the heart of a man. I have no idea if you make up a scenario like that. But in the Hadith, our Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم told us about a sinner who died while on his way to repentance and he received salvation, just like that thief.

Yes ..there is so much Jesus as a man could take ..so there is nothing wrong to address His Father as the only true God in a prayer..He is being respectful..

There are videos where Moslems reassure dying atheists that they will enter paradise after reciting the Shahada just before their last breath. Clearly, their salvation is seen as based on faith alone rather than their deeds.
