Forgive me for saying that but it has to be said.
I will tell you why you got everything wrong and you should be ashame of yourself instead..
First In Islam, circumcision is often seen as a way to purify oneself (Tahara) and is linked to hygiene, as it can make it easier to maintain cleanliness, especially after urination....so it has nothing to do with Ishmael

Secondly Circumcision is not explicitly mentioned in the Quran as a mandatory act.

In the Quran 16:123, Allah tells us to follow Prophet Abraham, pbuh.
So, can we agree that in the covenant of circumcision, the Ishmaelites are included?

Christianity is also part of the Abraham religion
Christians generally do not practice circumcision because they believe it's no longer a requirement for salvation or membership in the covenant, particularly for Gentile (non-Jewish) converts.

When God commanded circumcision as a sign of the covenant, Prophet Abraham circumcised Prophet Ishmael too.
Doesn't that mean Prophet Ishmael was also included in the covenant?

While God promised Abraham that the covenant blessings would pass through Isaac, Abraham's son with Sarah, He also made it clear that Ishmael, Abraham's son with Hagar, would also be blessed and become a great nation.
God's promise to Ishmael included blessings of fruitfulness, a large family, and twelve princes. However, the covenant, with its specific promises of descendants and land, was established specifically with Isaac and his lineage.
God specific promise about the Circumcision is only with the Israelites

If you follow Ishmael, why is circumcision not compulsory? Show me from the Hadith or Quran that Circumcision is passed down from Ishmael
While male circumcision is a common practice within Islam and is considered a sunnah (a recommended practice), it is not considered obligatory or compulsory in Islamic law. Different schools of Islamic jurisprudence have varying opinions, with some considering it highly recommended and others viewing it as permissible but not mandatory.

So Prophet Abraham circumcised Prophet Ishmael, with an axe, for fun?

Nothing to do with Ishmael since it is not compulsory
In Islam, circumcision (khitan) for males is a highly emphasized practice, often described as a Sunnah (recommended or emphasized practice) and is considered a sign of purification and belonging to the faith.
While not explicitly mandated in the Quran, it is widely practiced and considered a tradition of Prophet Muhammad. Some Islamic scholars view it as obligatory (wajib), while others consider it strongly recommended (sunnah).
Ultimately, the decision to circumcise is often made by families based on their interpretation of Islamic teachings and cultural norms.

So, the covenant of circumcision covers the descendants of Abraham, pbuh, which includes Ishmael, pbuh.
