Scripture readings for Christmas

Why does Allah forbid Muslims to be friends with Christians and Jews in Quran 5:51 (“Do not take the Jews and Christians for friends, for they are friends of each other. Whoever takes them for a friend is a sinner.”)?
That is why the 2 moslems love to attack n called us names!

I think it was St Jerome who said that it is easier to empty the ocean into a pail than to explain the Trinity.

So, if a great thinker like St Jerome cannot explain the Trinity, I cannot expect you to do any better.

Good night.

How did this up end as a revelation Laughing ...this should be in the Hadith...

Quran 33:53

O believers! Do not enter the homes of the Prophet without permission ˹and if invited˺ for a meal, do not ˹come too early and˺ linger until the meal is ready. But if you are invited, then enter ˹on time˺. Once you have eaten, then go on your way, and do not stay for casual talk. Such behaviour is truly annoying to the Prophet, yet he is too shy to ask you to leave. But Allah is never shy of the truth. And when you ˹believers˺ ask his wives for something, ask them from behind a barrier. This is purer for your hearts and theirs. And it is not right for you to annoy the Messenger of Allah, nor ever marry his wives after him. This would certainly be a major offence in the sight of Allah.

How many Muslims convert to Christianity every year in America?
Muslims are also converting to Christianity in the United States, but, ironically, our freedom of religion poses its own complications. A Wall Street Journal article by Daniel Pipes, “When Muslims Leave the Faith,” says that 100,000 Muslims in America leave their faith every year.

How can Islam be true when Jesus said "He is the first and last"? Therefore, how can Islam contradict itself with the prophets claiming the same when Jesus is a prophet in Islam?

  • 40% of U.S. adults are Protestants, 19% are Catholics, and 3% are other Christians. Together, those groups add up to the 62% Christian share of the population.
  • About 35% of U.S. adults identify with a different religious group or category than the one in which they were raised. Most of the movement is out of religion into the ranks of the unaffiliated.
  • 29% of all adults are religiously unaffiliated: 5% are atheist, 6% are agnostic, and 19% identify religiously as “nothing in particular.”
  • 7% belong to religions other than Christianity: 2% are Jewish, and about 1% each are Muslim, Buddhist, or Hindu (all figures are rounded).

Only 1 percent are Muslims?

You won't be persecuted for leaving Christianity...that is what a true religion is about...

But the same cannot be said about Islam. It is like wearing tight jeans...you feel restricted and often see the needs to adjust for space.

No, that's not what a true religion is about. That is actually a sign of people lacking faith. Wanna know why?

No, every religion has individuals who have left due to a lack of faith. Christianity, for example, allows people the freedom to leave, and they can choose to follow Islam if they wish.

Christianity does not restrict this choice, but the same cannot be said for Islam. While the Quran states that there is no compulsion in religion, in practice, some followers face imprisonment or the death penalty if they decide to leave Islam....

That is the difference...you don just talk..you must walk the walk and show the world that the Quran really meant what It says
