Scripture readings for Christmas

God Himself planned that there would be preserved for us a faithful, and true, and infallible writing...

The Bible itself presents us with a doctrine, a teaching, about its own inspiration by God, and its truthfulness and reliability...

So you don't know which verses in the Gospels were the actual words of Jesus and which ones were made to look like Jesus's words.

Okay. We will put this in the vault.

So now you going to forsake Jesus and run to the Jewish scholars for answers? Laughing

The messages of what Jesus said were always in line with the other authors...there was no contradictions.

Remember that if you follow the opinions of the Jewish scholars who also reject Jesus as the messiah than you are a kufir Laughing

Well, we have the book of Mark in which Jesus said the most important commandment is the Shema, but in Matthew, it is not the Shema.

That is a drastically different answer.

I don't follow the book of Isaiah but you do.

The truth is, for thousands of years, the untold many prophets God sent to the Israelites, none of them ever said the suffering servant is God who became a man and was then killed by God's own creation.

You talk alot but failed to pinpoint or show me the different answer ...just parroting what anti Christ moslems said!

Is there a change in the core command? The answer is No!

Mark 12:30:
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength".

Matthew 22:37:
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind".

Why did you leave out the answer in Mark given by Jesus as to which commandment is the most important?

Please demonstrate and support your claim regarding the untold prophets who indicated that the suffering servant is not suppose to be the incarnation of God.....Historically, all previous prophets pointed toward the coming of Jesus, NOT Muhammad.

God preserved the Bible, whereas the same cannot be said about the Islamic understanding of God.

I have asked you many questions regarding your own faith in my replies but you seem to ignore and skip them totally .. are you shy to answer them? Big Grin

You claimed that Isaiah's suffering servant is talking about God becoming a man, coming to this world to be killed by God's own creation. You need to support your claim, not me.

Maybe you have a different definition of the word "preserved".

Matthew focuses on the command to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind without quoting the full shema! Anything wrong?

Jesus is the living example of my support! He fulfilled the prophecies in the book of Isaiah...you cannot even show me who Isaiah was referring to.. Laughing

No! Maybe your eyesights have failed you terribly that you can't see that Christianity has been the largest religion due to God's will and part of His will is in the Book that He preserved

Nothing wrong if you feel the Shema is not the most important commandment. And the author of Matthew felt the same way, that the Shema is not the most important commandment.

Jesus, however, said the Shema is the most important commandment.

My eyesight is fine. I can read what the honest Christian scholars are saying about the Bible, that it is corrupted.

Give up what? We already agree that you believe in one God, which consists of 3 Gods.

We already have Mark quoting the shema, Matthew emphasizing the shema ..but you expect them to be word for word the same Laughing..

If they are word for word the same, you will then say it is fabricated, just copy and paste... Laughing some people are just hard to please.. Laughing
