EitherYou hand her to authorities or you let her go...if she is just a civilian!...Allah does not teach you to do these kind of Acts anymore..
Or you can still do it according to the quran?
You've fallen into a fallacy known as presentism.

You already said the no-divorce law cannot be applied today because women have status now. So you must have reviewed the law given by Jesus and after a debate, you decided it is no longer relevant today.
Is that right?

If a woman falls out of love...it is no longer a religious discussion ...it is that simple..no need to complicate matters! Quoting from the Bible is not relevant anymore....do you not agree?

The scenario is an abusive husband, be it mentally or physically abusive. Can the wife get a divorce from such a bad marriage? In Islam, they can. According to Jesus's teaching, as recorded in the NT, they cannot. So, that is the law you inferred is no longer relevant today.

There is nothing in the Bible to support the view that it is God's will for people to endure relationship abuse. ....The Bible is clear that violence is evil and must be confronted... Jesus tells us we need to bring evil into the light. ....We are to rebuke the wrongdoer, seek justice and hold them accountable my friend!

It is clearly stated in the NT that Jesus said you can ONLY divorce if your partner has committed adultery. Other than that, cannot. I think the Catholics are still holding on to this law.

Did you just suka suka make up your own Bible?
The Bible mentioned the killing of babies by smashing their heads against a rock (Psalm 137). Is that violent? Is that evil?
The Bible commanded the stoning for adulterers. Is that violent? Is that evil?

It is redundant my friend....if she says she has fallen out of love..you just take it..Do you still expect to catch her commit adultery infront of you before you finally give in?
Quite silly isn't it!

You said violence is evil and must be confronted. I'm just highlighting to you that the OT has plenty of violence endorsed or commanded by the biblical God. Or perhaps you meant only domestic violence is evil. Is that right?

Nothing about love.
The teaching in the NT said you cannot divorce no matter what. Only adultery is a valid reason for a divorce.

Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” 59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.
John 10:30
29] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. [30] I and my Father are one. [31] Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. [32] Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
John 14:9
Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” 9 Jesus answered: “Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
Clearly Jesus claimed to be God! If you Ali can come back from the dead..you will be my god!this I promise you!
We all will die and we all will be brought back to life. That means we all will come back from the dead. Are we all your god?
You quoted 3 ambiguous verses in trying to prove that Jesus is God. Why didn't Jesus say clearly that he is God if he is God?
If he is God, why did he made it a secret and then punish people for not believing he is God?

I am not referring to the second coming! No one can raise up from the dead except Jesus but if you can...I am sure people might see you as a god...it is as simple..Don try to complicate a easy sentence!
It is clear that Jesus claimed to be God...people threw stones at him! Is he a lunatic?
He can raise the dead, heal the blind, cast the demons out...these are miracles that man can't perform...only God can do it! Are you going to refute that from your quran that is 500 yrs after the historical Jesus?
Now that's the thing about your quran....you and your blind commitment that the quran is the word of god and to understand the word of god..you got to speak or understand Arabic..you tell me why? Isn't it tragic that those who cannot speak Arabic cannot understand God's clearest relevations? How tragic and biased is that?
You see faith in Christ is not for 1 race, it is not for 1 language, it is for the world...for god so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.....of cos Ali..in your ever lasting life you are expected to be in the pleasures of the 72 virgins...

Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. - Acts 2
According to Jesus's closest disciple, Jesus was a man and God did the miracles through him, which means Jesus didn't do those miracles. It was God who did the miracles. Jesus also said, "I by myself can do nothing."
So, I reject your claim of Jesus being God. How can Jesus be God when he himself worships God?

Yes, exactly. That's the point I was making to Pink.
Christianity does not have a solution for an abused wife, or husband.

You kept saying 'faith in Christ' but you don't follow most of Jesus's teachings and you even said his teachings are inadequate for modern times. Is that God to you?
You quoted John 3:16. Who said that? Do you know?

Does Deuteronomy 24:1-4 say a person can marry their ex-spouse again?
Bible Answer:
Deuteronomy 24:1-4 is about divorce and remarriage. The passage tells us that a man or woman cannot return to a former spouse and marry him or her if the former spouse had subsequently married another person. Here is the passage,
Quote:When a man takes a wife and marries her, and it happens that she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out from his house, and she leaves his house and goes and becomes another man’s wife, and if the latter husband turns against her and writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, or if the latter husband dies who took her to be his wife, then her former husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her again to be his wife, since she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before the LORD, and you shall not bring sin on the land which the LORD your God gives you as an inheritance. Deuteronomy
