Strange things happened in the neighbourhood

Probably the Malaysia Sultan never read ST newspapers and online news about Singapore had elected a New President and only recently, changed the Prime Minister.

Suggestions: CNA should offer the Sultan access W/O subscription.

Shockingly how come M'sia Sultan isn't aware of Singapore's protocol

“a system of rules that explain the correct conduct and procedures to be followed in formal situations,”"

Then, Singapore Govt has the responsibility and could  have politely informed The Sultan of recent changes and keeping his majesty updated.

Otherwise the Sultan doesn't know .

Obviously, The Sultan doesn't know Singapore got a President and Prime Minister.

At least, the world knows Who's holding the Ace card?

The hierarchy governing the country
1. The President
2. Prime Minister
3. Senior Minister

There's no good reasons for Sr Minister to bypass both President and PM on state matters..

Unless it's a private matter.

This makes our President a transparent body and becoming more irrelevant to us.

Talking about puppet, someone said that the head of the government is purportedly the most powerful, but he's only a puppet. His predecessor, now his mentor, is the one exerting a lot of behind-the-scenes influence. Well, I think LW still wields political clout and has a major role in decision-making. However, LHL is still the Secretary General of the PAP, and so by law he holds the power, and he can remove LW from power if he wants to. He is the most powerful man in the land.

How can a seasoned political Party system be so disorganised and so cockup?

Then the party should call for election to appoint a sec general.

The newly appointed Prime Minister should set a new course.
