Why take 2 weeks?

Trump wanted to settle Iraniian issue through a deal.
Israel keep trying to stop it. Iran kept delaying.

Now he let the 2 sides fight it out. Israel is running out of Arrows to defend against Iranian missiles and Iran us slowly running out of missle and will slow it's attacks 

Soon each side will separately come to Trump and he will have them where they want. Trump does not like Nethanyahu at all for dragging US into Iraq war. 

If Trump can play Nethanyahu and show he is non deep state puppet of Israeli lobby, he will emerge hero to MAGA base.

Trump knows the trickery of Nethanyahu ...and will play along. If US wants to attack Iran why wait 2 weeks? 

Obviously Trump is playing Nethanyahu. He wants to look like he is supporting Israel but delay 2 weeks to force Israel to finish what it started without US involvement.

Israel is running out of Arrows and Iran can now do some real damage. This will put Israel is a mor desperate position right where Trump wants them.

He will then force Israel to eat a deal ending the whole middle east conflict.

In January 2025 Trump told his staffers Nethanyahu has been dragging US into unnecessary wars and he will be the president to stop it.

Delay is likely due to Iran sudden showcase of its 2000-2500km range missile that can hit US airbases as far as part of Western Europe. So Pentagon need a couple of days to readjust its strategic planes deployment (eg B2).
But doubt it will take 2 weeks, and nor will Iran trust Trump's words.
