Surrounding nuclear power plants successive effects

The amount of water that overflowed was approximately 95 liters in Unit 1 and 326 liters in Unit 2. Currently, the water level is maintained and there are no abnormalities in cooling.

At Tokyo Electric Power Co.'s Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant, which is currently shut down, water overflowed from the spent nuclear fuel storage pools at five reactors, Units 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7, due to the earthquake shaking.
