I left the west for 5 years, recently drove around that area and I was amazed and envious of the pace of development.

Exactly...in fact everywhere in Singapore is developing very fast. If no COVID CRISIS, we would see the new Terminal 5 completed in 2 years time.
I get it, with so many lines in our MRT systems, any place on this island is getting smaller...and eventually everywhere on this island is a prime location....

When you look out of your unit and see residents from neighbouring developments staring back at you ... or the noise and pollution from the heavy traffic on the street level - I already could hear the traffic noise ... luckily now covid less tourists imagine stepping out of your condo onto the street level to be greeted by hordes of people ... stress le!
