Eg if a guy's dad and his 2 grandfathers didn't live beyond 75-80yo, then I think it will be very stupid to gamble to delay CPFLife draw down till 70yo.
Many grandparents are all very healthy can live beyond 95, some over 100, but due to the stress we suffer, bad habits and processed food we consume daily, not many can live beyond 90.

$1500 per month will be too little 20-30 years later as inflation is high, $1500 will be only worth $150 in value.

Agree. And the grandparents gen weren't exposed to the higher pollutants in our world now.
Eg pesticides used in agriculture, radioactive waste from Fuku Japan, heavy metals like mercury from industries and fossil fuel burning and micro-plastics. For the latter, Chinese researchers are now postulating that the micro-plastics absorbed into the human body can lead to blood clots and thus a shorter lifespan (ie faster degradation of organs once the blood supply is gradually blocked).
There will also be more vicious superbugs and viruses, like the more deadly Disease X that PM Lee highlighted.
And with more diseases, it will mean more vaccinations which some think (me included) may also shorten lifespan by surfacing/aggravating pre-existing illnesses.
