(29-11-2023, 05:45 PM)twinkle07 Wrote:  Malaysian singer-actress Queenzy Cheng died yesterday (Nov 28) at the age of 37.

She was filming for the social media channel Squad Sekawan when she collapsed.

Fellow singer-actor Chai Zi, who co-founded Squad Sekawan with Queenzy and other friends, told China Press that he had picked her up that morning and they had arrived on set at 8am.

They started filming their first episode at 8.30am after having breakfast, and it was around 10.30am when Queenzy was getting ready to film for the second one that she reportedly sat down in a chair and said that she was dizzy, her head hurt and she wanted to vomit.

Chai Zi added that Queenzy had vomited either stomach acid or saliva and the staff had called for an ambulance. At the time, she was still conscious and gave them the passcode for her mobile phone, so they could contact her boyfriend for her medical records.

Her boyfriend reportedly responded that Queenzy has always been healthy but her father has an imbalance of fluid in his ears.

"Staff who could provide first aid checked on her. Queenzy was still breathing when she lost consciousness, but her heart was beating very fast, and soon after, her lips, hands and feet turned purple," Chai Zi revealed.

The ambulance reportedly arrived in five minutes, but Queenzy could not be resuscitated and was declared dead.

Chai Zi added: "From the time she said she was dizzy to the time she died, it was only 30 to 40 minutes."

The cause of death is pending autopsy results.

The news of Queenzy's death was also announced on her Instagram page and condolences came pouring in.

Singapore-based Malaysian actress Sora Ma commented with a sobbing emoji, while Malaysian actress Koe Yeet wrote: "Heaven gained an angel today. We will miss you."

Malaysian actress Joey Leong commented: "Memories of you being talkative, laughing and warm are all still fresh in my mind. I feel like I haven't had the chance to have a long conversation with you but you have already…

"I really don't want to write this sentence but, rest in peace."

Former army officer, 43, collapses suddenly at work & dies "He's always been fit and strong", a friend shared.

A 43-year-old former S'pore Armed Forces (SAF) officer collapsed at his workplace, died from a heart attack. Robin Chua, who left SAF less than a year ago to join his family business as an engineer, fainted at work on Sunday (Apr. 28) and passed away en route to hospital in an ambulance.

Chua had attained the rank of lieutenant colonel during his time in the army. He was said to have been "fit and strong" and his death came as a shock to friends and family. Went into fatal coma after fainting at work: SisterChua's sister told Shin Min Daily News (Shin Min) that her brother had fainted at around 2pm while working at their family's company. A company employee performed cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on him and was able to bring Chua back to consciousness.

However, on the way to the hospital, Chua fell into a coma, medical staff were unable to resuscitate him. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Doctors said the cause of death was cardiac arrest.

Caring for your arteries and veins beyond the heart.... Big Grin

Cardiovascular diseases are now the leading cause of death globally, and its largest contributing factors are the terrible "three highs" (high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and high blood cholesterol).

Hypertension, hyperglycemia, and hyperlipidemia are becoming more prevalent in modern society, and the incidence of these conditions is also trending towards younger age groups.
What can we do to effectively prevent the three highs?

Let me introduce a method that could reverse the three highs, even if one has suffered from them for many years! This important to note.!

*Nocturia*

Nocturia means that urination at night is a symptom of heart failure, not of the bladder.
Dr.Abdul Nasir, explains that nocturia is actually a symptom of blockage in the blood flow to the heart and brain. Adults and elderly people suffer the most because they have to get up frequently at night to urinate. Elders shy away from drinking water before going to bed at night for fear of disturbing sleep.

They think that if you drink water, you will have to get up again and again to urinate. What they don't know is that not drinking water before bed or after urinating at night is an important cause of frequent early morning heart attacks or strokes in adults and elderly people.

In fact, nocturia means frequent urination is not a problem of bladder dysfunction. This is due to decreased heart function in the elderly with age, as the heart is no longer able to suck blood from the lower part of the body.
In such a situation, during the day when we are in a standing position, the flow of blood is more downwards. If heart is weak, the amount of blood in heart becomes insufficient the pressure on lower part of the body increases.

That is why adults and or elderly people get swelling in the lower part of the body during day. When they lie down at night lower part of the body gets relief from the pressure and thus a lot of water gets stored in the tissues. This water comes back into the blood. If there is too much water, the kidneys have to work harder to separate water & push it out of the bladder. This is one of the main causes of nocturia.
 1. So it usually takes about 3 or 4 hours between when you lie down to sleep & first time one go to toilet. After that, when amount of water in the blood starts increasing again, after three hours one has to go to the toilet again.

Now the question arises that why?. is it an important cause of brain stroke or heart attack?.
 1. Answer: Is that after urinating 2 or 3 times, there is very little water in the blood body's water is also reduced by breathing. This causes blood to become thick and sticky and the heart rate slows down during sleep. Due to the thick blood and slow blood flow, the narrowed blood vessel gets blocked easily...

This's reason why adults and elderly people are always found to have a heart attack or paralysis around 5-6 in the morning. In this condition they die in sleep itself.

First thing to tell everyone is that nocturia is not a malfunction of bladder, it's problem of aging.

Another thing to tell everyone is that you should drink lukewarm water before going to bed, and again after getting up to urinate at night.

Do not be afraid of nocturia. Drink plenty of water, because not drinking water can kill you.

The third thing is that to increase the efficiency of the heart, you should do more exercise in a normal time. The human body is not a machine that will deteriorate if it is overused, on the contrary, the more it is used, the stronger it will be. Do not eat unhealthy food, especially high starch and fried foods.

Some people suffering with severe cases of COVID-19 will show signs of kidney damage, even those who had no underlying kidney problems before they were infected with the coronavirus.

Signs of kidney problems in patients with COVID-19 include high levels of protein or blood in the urine and abnormal blood work.

 1. Studies indicate more than 30% of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 develop kidney injury, & more than 50% of patients in intensive care unit with kidney injury may require dialysis. Sperati says early in the pandemic, some hospitals were running short on machines & sterile fluids needed to perform dialysis.

“As general treatments for patients with COVID-19 have improved, the rates of dialysis have decreased. This has helped to alleviate shortages, although intermittent supply chain disruptions remain a concern.

Many patients with severe COVID-19 are those with co-existing, chronic conditions, including high blood pressure and diabetes. Both of these increase the risk of kidney disease,” he says.

 1. But Sperati & other doctors are also seeing kidney damage in people who did not have kidney problems before they got infected with the virus...

Bigeyes SMRT station manager Kelvin Leong jumped in and Thumbsup instructed station staff to get the automated external defibrillator (AED). He also took Clapping over CPR while Dr Lim prepared the AED. Dr Lim said he stressed be'cos it was outside a controlled hospital environment. “In a hospital, there are medical personnel. “Outside, we have to try to make use of what’s available, get help of other people,” he added.
Mr Leong kept up the chest compressions before Dr Lim administered the AED. Meanwhile, other station staff ushered crowd away from man. Soon, the man’s heart started beating again.

At about 7.35am, paramedics arrived at the station, took man to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Dr Lim then hopped on a bus & made it for his 8am shift. Paramedics were surprised to see him again at the A&E department where he works. He had told them he was a doctor at the hospital, but did not mention he was working that day. “The paramedics said: ‘I didn’t know you were going to work, we would have given you a ride’,” he said.

If I was at work, I wouldn’t go to a patient and say: ‘Hey, I saw you in the A&E and helped you’,” he added. “I feel that with such a skill set or training in the medical profession, this is what someone should do if they ever encounter such a situation.”

If the heart is weak, the amount of blood in the heart becomes insufficient and the pressure on the lower part of the body increases. That is why adults and elderly people get swelling in the lower part of the body during the day. When they lie down at night the lower part of the body gets relief from the pressure and thus a lot of water gets stored in the tissues. This water comes back into the blood. If there is too much water, the kidneys have to work harder to separate the water and push it out of the bladder. This is one of the main causes of nocturia.
So it usually takes about three or four hours between when you lie down to sleep and the first time you go to the toilet. After that, when the amount of water in the blood starts increasing again, after three hours one has to go to the toilet again.
Now the question arises that why is it an important cause of brain stroke or heart attack?
The answer is that after urinating two or three times, there is very little water in the blood. The body's water is also reduced by breathing. This causes the blood to become thick and sticky and the heart rate slows down during sleep. Due to the thick blood and slow blood flow, the narrowed blood vessel gets blocked easily...
This is the reason why adults and elderly people are always found to have a heart attack or paralysis around 5-6 in the morning. In this condition they die in sleep itself.
The first thing to tell everyone is that nocturia is not a malfunction of the bladder, it is a problem of aging.
I request you to share this article with your adult and elderly friends.

But than again....here. Clapping
After 50 years, this strange molecular absence finally led researchers from the UK and Israel to describe a new blood group system in humans.

"It represents a huge achievement, and the culmination of a long team effort, to finally establish this new blood group system and be able to offer the best care to rare, but important, patients," UK National Health Service hematologist Louise Tilley says, after nearly 20 years of personally researching this bloody quirk.
