I didn't see that particular offer from Jesus anywhere in the Bible.

How come?

"I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." (John 14:6)

"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. (John 5:24)

"For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believe in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day." (6:40)

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?" (11:25-26)
