I doubt he's suffering from some sort of dementia that affects the ability to think or remember normally. He's given no such indication seeing as how he's remained calm and clearheaded in spirited discussions with us as he zeroed in on our core beliefs. The questions he usually asks are centered mainly on the central tenets of Christianity, such as the Trinity, the Holy Writ, sola fide, Christ's deity and His resurrection.

He stands behind his Quran 100 percent, which contradicts authentic Scripture, the Bible. For example, it teaches that Allah does not love ungrateful sinners, unbelievers, the proud, or the extravagant (Surah 2:276) and that people obtain salvation when their good works outweigh their bad works. (Surah 23:102-3)

The Bible, on the other hand, teaches that God loves sinners (Rom 5:8) and that salvation comes to us solely through God's grace (Eph 2:8-9). Also, the Quran contradicts known facts of history. For instance, it denies that Jesus was crucified on a cross (Surah 4:157), something that has been substantiated by the Bible and extrabiblical sources. It's clear he's hell-bent on demolishing the Christian faith.
