So, when you say bomoh, you need to know what kind of bomoh. The Malays use that word for all sorts of practice.

It seems that the bomohs searching for the missing plane are performing some form of magic. Is this considered incompatible with Islam?

 If Islam acknowledges the existence of jinn, why does it not also recognize the methods employed by bomohs to deal with jinns?
