If the islamic countries are losing out to Western and Asian nations (non-Islamic nations) in terms of sciences, politics, economics, ethics, medicine, literature and so forth (e.g., List of Nobel laureates by country - Wikipedia).

Then it is obvious that Islam hinder personal progress and development...get it! Don make me repeat again!

Can you explain how come the early Muslims were the leading scientists of the world at that time? They were driven to excel in the fields of science and mathematics by their faith. Islam spurred them. 

So please don't repeat ignorant statements.
