Yet, you believe God can be contained in the body of a man.

The temple was not meant to contain God in a physical sense, but rather to serve as a focal point for worship and a tangible representation of God's presence. It was a place where people could come to pray, offer sacrifices, and seek God's guidance. 

Jesus as the Ultimate Temple:
The New Testament further develops this idea, with Jesus being referred to as the ultimate temple where God's presence dwells fully. Christians believe that believers themselves become temples of the Holy Spirit.
