Zaccaeus was a tax-collector for the Romans lah!  He was a Jew collecting tax for the Romans who oppressed the Jews so they all hated him lah! When he saw Jesus and He called him to come down from the tree, that moment he was saved lah! Then he opened his house to serve Jesus and His disciples lah! Zaccaeus promised to return all the money he had squeezed from his Jewish people and pay back 4 times those he had owed lah! From his actions he's proven to have repented and turned a new leaf lah!
