As for Jizya, it is a very just law. Many people in Singapore, regardless of religion, would be happy if our government institutes a similar form of tax on us, where we don't have to serve NS if we pay a special tax.
I think the main context is the mistranslation of the Quran about Jizya ...it has nothing to do with Singapore
