Christianity spreads further during persecutions lah!  The 1st Christians in Jerusalem were persecuted and they all dispersed around the world preaching the gospel lah! "...in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

No use spreading all over the world as the  head has been cut off in the holy land.
