Jesus as a man calling the Father in heaven as the only true God....nothing wrong with the statement..now 2 verses later john17:5...the general concensus is that this verse is part of Jesus' prayer to the Father, and it expresses his desire to be restored to the divine glory he shared with God before creation.

Are you trying to say that the Father was the only true God when Jesus was in this world?

And I noticed you added "divine" to the word glory which doesn't exist in that verse.
