I am sure courage does not play a part in the decision to jump

For example the woman who rush into the fire to save her bf from the burning car

It is not motivated by courage but the overwhelming wish to save her bf 

If you ask her if she will do it again, likely she will reply you that it depends on how strong her urge is at that moment

If her wish to save him is not as strong now, she will most likely not do it and it most certainly will not be about her courage then and now.
