The way I see it, Ousmane Dembele only gently touched Angel Di Maria. The contact wasnt hard or forceful, but Di Maria came tumbling down like a ton of bricks. The play-acting had people believing that he was tripped. He was up to his old tricks and the referee fell for it. Dembele shook his head in frustration when the referee pointed his finger at the penalty spot. I may be wrong, though, and you may be right. This issue remains a matter of conjecture.

 

ppl thinking penalty is ok in finals so long the other party equalize in the end. but the problem when others are down one goal like croatia due to such free penalty. it changes the pace of the game and also the results.
