A week after 1st successful soft landing, India's 27kg tiny six-wheeled solar-powered rover "Pragyan" has confirmed existence of several elements including sulphur, aluminium, calcium, iron, chromium, titanium, manganese, silicon and oxygen on the lunar surface in the landed area near to Moon's south pole region ...It now has at least another week of design life left to achieve its primary mission - finding solid Water...before rover risk the freezing cold of approaching 14-days long lunar night which can dip as cold as -200ยฐC.
Latest update shows all payloads on the propulsion module, lander module, and rover are performing nominally.
