After 2-years war on Ukraine, Denmark Confirms Transfer of Entire F-16 Fleet to Ukraine, April 21, 2024. Denmark's Ambassador to Ukraine, Ole Egberg Mikkelsen confirmed Denmark's intention to transfer remaining fleet of F-16 jets to Ukraine following sale of 24 F-16s to Argentina, decision is part of Denmark's broader shift for F-35 model, it's aligning similar moves by other European nations group that recently included Portugal.
Delivery is coordinated effort by NATO countries to committed providing Ukraine with 65 F-16s total by Denmark MoD. 2023, Denmark's F-16 fleet includes 34 F-16AM & 10 F-16BM jets, 30 of 44 jets operational.
