God wills that we must refrain from eating pork or blood. If you obey, you're a Muslim. It's that simple.

On a side note, whenever my Chinese friends ask me why we don't eat pork, my answer is always "Because God says don't and God didn't explain why." I will never say pork is dirty coz that is purely conjecture to say that.

When God says pray 50 times a day...then his words are final! You don talk to moses go up and down the heavens 9 times to negotiate with God to finally reduce to 5 times. God is not fickle.

Why is Muhammad able to see God face to face? No human can see God from near.

If Muhammad was the author of the Quran, how did he get a historical fact right while the Bible was wrong about the meeting between Prophet Joseph and the ruler of Egypt?

That fact that Prophet Joseph did not meet a Pharoah is clear proof that the Quran is from God. We only know in modern times that during Prophet Joseph's time, there was no Pharoah yet the Bible said Prophet Joseph met with a Pharoah while the Quran said Prophet Joseph met with a king.

Btw, both the Quran and the Bible state that Prophet Moses met with a Pharoah and both are correct because at the time of Moses, the ruler of Egypt was known as a Pharoah.
