MOM need to look into this case in details.

If govt keep telling the own world we are short of IT manpower, and yet young IT manpower are switching out from the industry, something must be very wrong..

Possible reasons:

1) Govt con us.. There is never a shortage of IT manpower. In fact, there is over surplus of IT manpower in Singapore
2) Sell ban mian pay better than as programmer
3) The IT env is so toxic until people can't stay long

Feel free to add other possible reasons..

Govt never bluff u. There's really a shortage of engineers/IT , but technical people are still leaving the industry. Why? Too much hard work but pay doesn't match up. Then u get fark by managers who don't really know the difficulty of your work but think it's very easy. And when you get the job done, they get the credit. The problem with this country is too many managers but too few people who do the actual work.

Last weekend I bought ready made mi hoon kway from Seng Siong. Bought some yong tau foo from wet market then use Daiso bonito flake soup based soya sauce …  fusion SG Jipponese yong tau foo mi soon kway of course throw in purple spinach … yum yum
