For me wisdom is highly desirable and is the only thing that matters. I'm a believer and I'd like to say wisdom is a central theme of God's Word. The book of Proverbs often speaks of wisdom. It never tells us to be led by emotions, but it strongly encourages us to pursue wisdom, a combination of balance, common sense, and good judgement.

Wisdom is being able to apply knowledge and experience to make sound judgments and decisions. It is crucial since it allows us to understand the complexities of life, recognise how events are connected and the reasons behind the behaviour of those we interact with daily. 

This helps us overcome challenges and make informed choices. A wise person may distinguish between what is important and what is not, focusing on the essential aspects of a situation. This ability prevents us from getting stuck by matters of unimportance and helps us prioritise effectively.

Wisdom gives us a broader perspective, enabling us to see the bigger picture and avoid being overwhelmed by immediate concerns of less importance. This long-term view helps us make decisions that really matter.
