So look at that Pink. Your friend already admitted that Paul's teaching is not the same as Jesus's teaching.

Jesus said salvation includes adherence to the Law.

So, going by your criteria, it wasn't Jesus who visited on the road to Damascus.

In Romans 3:31, Paul is addressing the idea that faith in Christ nullifies the law. He emphatically answers, "No! On the contrary, we uphold the law"

So the answer is very clear! Don twist his words again.
