I don't use insect spray so can only catch them (adults) using those "buttefly" catching net from Daiso and then spray alcohol to immobilise them (water doesn't work as the wing is waxy). Then dump them in the toilet and light them up (using a stove lighter) to kill them permanently.

Yup! This is exactly what I saw. The wriggling larvae sticking out their head on either end. So it is the larvae of moth.
I have gather them manually via wet toilet tissue and flushed them down the toilet.
Now the ceiling and wall looks cleaner. Its an eyesore when too many up there.
