In a bull run, even an ah soh who didn't finish her psle can tell peepur to buy and make money. When it reaches the point of an island reversal, did the resident investment guru tell you to stop and watch the rally? Don't skelp and gamble with the big boys.

If you had been seeing him like he's a god of fortune, then you asked for it if you made losses.

I think his comments about China didn't endear him to the China fanbois. I do agree with most of his comments and both of us ended up being labelled CECA.

We are not anti China or anti Chinese but some things we say are just inconvenient...

Need some proper advice?

Better book a private specialist and don't wait till Aug.

Fyi:
Approx 20% of adults with visible blood in the urine are found to have bladder cancer.

Good luck if you don't know how to reduce the odds to be in your favor...

Our healthcare institutions have long queues because we have an aged population.

Sgbuffet has entered the spring of Middle Age at 40~41. Like an old car, problems one after the other are starting to show especially if he had neglected his health.

Of course he isn't going to die tonight but that does not mean he's going to be around to vote for CSJ again, either, if he delays..

I would strongly advise him to see an urologist at the earliest possible. He isn't as poor as he claimed in his signature. He can afford to see one at Raffles Horsepeter or Mt A lar.

Being thrifty is good. Like they say, waste not, want not.

But we should still have occasions of extravagance and enjoy a bit. What's the point of subjecting himself to the stresses of gambling on stocks and the uncertainties of running an online business (before covid) and saying he's his own employer if he doesn't even give this employee that's himself a bit of staff welfare and medical and H&S benefits? He's a bad employer to work for lorh.

When it's taim to spend, not spending is not being thrifty or frugal but stringy like a scrooge. Afaik, a consultation at a private horsepeter costs about $400 nia, excluding tests and medicine, etc.

Not trying to scare you but those are the real world stats.

It might be higher or lower based on multiple factors.

As said, do seek early diagnosis and early treatment.

Do you know you can bypass all these cumbersome procedures by just calling SGH/TTSH and inform them you want to make an appointment with  urologist senior consultant at the earliest date possible as a private patient? The first consultation you will be charged as a private out patient but subsequent follow up local charges applied. Aug is still a long way off - if got blood in urine see urologist asap!

If initially see as a private patient, later don't think can switch back to be a subsidized patient......?

Years of eating lousy food plus monitoring the US stock market probably do him in. According to TCM we need to sleep at the correct time. Even an inveterate night owl like me I have recently tried to sleep early.

Should be possible  ... as second consultation is like a follow up - anyway whether private or referral by polyclinic I think it's critical to consult a urologist ASAP once detected blood in urine! If everything is OK just mere blood vessels tear then you don't need to see the specialist long term - wlbut what happened if it's a matter of life or death  - early detection is critical! Aug is a long way off! What's the point of saving a few hundreds than needing long term expensive treatment because of late detection?

I think not possible, unless you go to polyclinic to get referral again. This happened to my mother.
