Chee Hong Tat rejects PSP’s call for COI on 6-day EWL disruption 

During a Ministerial Statement on 15 October, Transport Minister Chee Hong Tat rejected opposition calls for a Committee of Inquiry into the six-day disruption of the East-West Line (EWL). He expressed confidence in the Land Transport Authority's ongoing investigation to identify the root causes of the incident and assured that the findings will be publicly released.

Spanish couple issued stern warning over protest against Valencia owner Peter Lim 

A Spanish couple, investigated for protesting against Valencia football club owner Peter Lim during their honeymoon in Singapore, received a stern warning from authorities and have since left the country. The man was warned for holding an assembly without a permit, while his wife was warned for abetting the protest under Public Order Act.

Maxwell hawker murder: Suspect taken back to crime scene by police
