Read from some reviews that HSBC gives terribly bad service.

I tried calling them but can't even get a chance to speak to a real person.

Anyone has dealt with HSBC??

......

Mother-of-two Julianna Bransden, 44, was living a “happy healthy life” until a sudden illness left her fighting for her life.

Ms Bransden first began experiencing flu-like symptoms on New Year’s Eve, a few days after celebrating a big Christmas with her family. After she went to bed to try and rest, doctors described her as “falling off a cliff”, deteriorating so badly that her heart stopped.

“Julianna’s husband Tim called 111 and they told him to keep giving her paracetamol, but when she was no better he called an ambulance,” Julianna’s mother, Linda Burgess, told The Independent.

......

Once admitted, Julianna spent 18 days in a coma, with doctors working around the clock to treat her for septic shock, two cardiac arrests, and multiple organ failure. She had developed sepsis as an aggressive form of pneumonia brought on by influenza and StrepA.

Scotland’s pioneering policy of minimum pricing for alcohol has been linked to a 13% drop in the number of deaths from alcohol consumption, and hundreds fewer hospitalisations, according to a study.

......

In May 2018, the Scottish government introduced legislation implementing a minimum price of 50p a unit of alcohol. The research published in the Lancet suggests it has been associated with about 150 fewer deaths a year on average.

......

There was also a 4.1% reduction in hospitalisations for conditions wholly attributable to alcohol consumption, equivalent to avoiding 411 hospitalisations a year on average.

The detection rate for rape is now so low in London that “you may as well say it is legal”, one Met officer told a landmark review.

The damning report by the crossbench peer Baroness Casey found examples of bad practice in the way sexual cases were handled including freezers holding vital forensic evidence being too crammed to close and even breaking down.

A lunchbox was found in the same fridge that rape samples were being kept in which would have contaminated the evidence, the review was told.
