Interesting. Hongkong and China markets have been down for 3-4 years. Left skin and bones.

Not much meat left to short

I may be calling it a bit early... But I think brave ones can start collecting everything China including real estates.

If buy in first tier cities like Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai then not much problem. For the other cities it'll take some time for them to absorb the excess capacity.

I'd always and continue to maintain the view of only buying properties in first tier cities in China and even other countries. There is no point in purchasing in other states unless the plan is to retire there. Even retiring home can be rental instead of ownership.

But you won't want to retire in first tier cities in China. They have good infra but also all the problems of big cities - overcrowded, expensive etc. 

Retire in third tier cities instead.

49 in 2 months time yet I don't think I can retire lah. Never really plan for my own retirement, rather settle the livelihood of family. At least I don't owe anyone anything this life.

Lets be clear Master Leong never said he will never guve up on China he said he will give up is Alibaba dont go above 120 by end of next yr..

If China market is strong and going up i will be more than happy to go long.
