Not good for the China markets

HSI and China markets will be under pressure. Rumor is that the China National Standing Committee was waiting for the US election results before deciding whether to increase the stimulus. Hope this true.

And Powell will soon be out of a job soon. Trump is not recommending him for another term

My view is this nothing to do with whether I like Trump or not or what I think is right thing to do.

Based on his campaign speeches and the views of those around him:

1. Trump will conduct a stronger trade war with trading partners whom he views as cheats. 20% tariffs .minimum and 60% against China.

2. Leveraging on USD as dominant world currency. Countries need to export to US to get USD to pay their debts. Examples are countries nearby like Malaysia which owes alot of USD.

3. Because it is harder to export to US to get dollars, the demand for USD will rise to unprecedented levels. That is why once you see Trump winning the USD surge.

4. The rise in USD will offset inflation cause by tariffs.

5. The rise in USD will attract investments into US. With money flowing into US from other countries

6. Multi nationals also have no choice but to overcome the tariffs by relocating to US.

Trump plan is very clear
Make America Great = Make economy great = Make economy great = make USD great.

2. An announcement js coming up and thjs may cause the market to tank due to disappointment so watch out.

3. For traders once selling start can start shorting.

4. Upside will be met by many stale bulls who got stuck after the sudden drop of HSI on 8 Oct.

HSI and China market reacted to the NPC meeting announcement with a sell down. Unless more stimulus announcements r coming, expect HSI and China market started going down next week
